Cc: DONOVAN James; MILLER Liz Subject: Walgreens at Riverbend Robert: I tried to contact Amy Chinitz at SUB Wate'r Quality Protection earlier this afternoon, but didn't receive a response. The Drinking Water Protection (DWP) permit for the Walgreens tenant infill can be issued upon receipt of the review comments from SUB Water Quality Protection. There are typically some conditions attached to the decision that must be addressed, including possible revisions to the Hazardous Materials Management Plan and completion offinal inspections by SUB and the Fire Marshal. Therefore, even under the most optimistic scenario,"it is unlikely this issue can be satisfactorily resolved by the end of the business day tomorrow in order to facilitate a Wednesday opening. Staff will issue the DWP decision at the earliest opportunity, but are not obliged to meet the contractor's arbitrary deadline for opening (June 3). Please let me know if you have any questions.
