Amy had 3 primary concerns with the HMMP, and they are as follows: 1. Detail how pharmaceutical items will be provided secondary containment . Walgreens will physically attach containment trays to pharmaceutical shelving. All shelving will be secured to the facility's walls. 2. Detail how hazardous waste will be stored if generated in the pharmacy. " . The Walgreens Clinical Pharmacy is unlikely to generate regulated hazardous waste at this time. However, if it is generated, it will be properly labeled, provided with secondary containment, and collected by an approved waste material disposal vendor and disposed in accordance with State and local requirements. (This data is provided within the DWP Application narrative but not the HMMP. It will be inserted within the revised HMMP.) , 3. Provide contact information for all Walgreens personnel responsible for implementing the HMMP and its requirements. Include those personnel who will be performing the monthly inspections. . Such contact information will be inserted within theHMMP. Additionally, Amy provided me with her full review of the DWP Application, HMMP, and HMIS, This was sent to Andy Limbird and Gordon Gilbert yesterday. I have attached a copy of it for your reference. " Feel free to contact me if you desire any additional information. I am working with Walgreens ,to assist and facilitate full compliance of all DWP Application requirements. Let us know if there's anything else that we.'can do to assist or expedite getting Walgreens into their facility. Thanks, John John M. Souza, P.E.
