Hi Andy, .
I received your referral. We visited the site April 30,2008 and authorized the existing. septic for connection to a
replacement dwelling. However, at that time I don't think we knew about the proposed partition. Regarding the proposed
j parcel that has the existing septic system: they need to show an adequate replacement area for a new drainfield in the
. event that the existing one fails. Regarding the second proposed parcel: They should apply for a Site Evaluation with us to
confirm the site can be approved for a septic system (and replacement area) (and still fit a dwelling and driveway). I would
recommend you hold off on approving the partition until the Site Evaluation has been completed and approved.
To build a dwelling on the sec.ond parcel, some.one will need t.o apply for a septic installation permit through .our office.
