Subject: MLK Annexation - Posting of Notices

One of the public notification requirements for annexation proposals is to post the affected 'area(s) with public hearing
notices. I recommend that four or five of the notices are placed inside page protectors and affixed to survey lathes;
these can,be staked at strategic locations along the linear annexation area. The best locations are probably at the north,
midpoint, and south ends of the MLK portion, and two in the Game Farm Road/Deadmond Ferry Road area, We will also
post notification on the City's website and at City Hall.
There is some lead time on this, as the posting must be done by June 22 according to our July 6 public hearing
timetable. However, I don't recommend putting the signs out too early or they will be lost ~nd/or destroyed. Thanks
