at 4202 Main Street (City of Springfield Development Permit
No. 85-2)

Gentlemen:
On behalf of the Atlantic Richfield Company, we are herewith
enclosing the following Information to process a building permit appli-
catIon through the City of SprIngfield at the above-referenced locatIon.
1. Three (3) complete sets of construction drawings for
the project, Including site plan, grading and drainage
plan, utility connection plan, landscaping plans, and
buIlding drawIngs. The building drawings Incorporate
details for the underground tank Installation as wel I
as for the canopy over the pump Island construction.
2. One (1) plan review fee In the amount of $284.05 based
upon an estimated building valuatIon of $200,000.00.
The balance of the plan review fee wll I be paid at
the time the buIlding permit Is ready for approval
and It wll I be adjusted at that time to reflect an
actual constructIon estImate for the building.
3. One (1) copy of a soils report prepared for the project
by Shannon and W I I son, I nc. prov I ding geotechn I ca I .
Information for the sIte.
Would you please proc~ed to process the building permit
application as soon as possible and notify this office of any addItIonal
Information that Is needed to secure the necessary approvals. We

are also requesting approval to construct the free-standing sign at
the Intersection corner as shown In the drawings In accordance with
the detaIls provIded within the plan set. Additional wal I signs are
also shown on the building, but are generally limited In size.

necessary to complete the processing of these plans In accordance
with CIty of Springfield regulations. Please contact our office at
