A PSI representative was on-site to observe a proof ,roll on exposed subgrade soiis for the 23rd Street repair (See
attached site plans), The proof roll was conducted at finished subgrade elevation using a loaded tandem axied dump
truck weighing approximately 50,000 pounds, No deflection (pumping) were observed, indicating a relatively firm, stable
but slightly over optimum moisture subgrade, Due to the'slight over-optimum moisture conditions, recommend piacing a
geotextile fabric over the subgrade prior to placing base rock, Scheduled to return today at 10am and 2pm to perform in
place density testing on the crushed aggregate, To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected above was in
accordance 'with the building department approved design drawings, specifications and applicable workmanship
