1: Dear Mr. Lansing:
On May 26th, you came to our office to purchase an additional permit for dryrot repair for
work being donee at 4027 Main Street, Springfield, Oregon.
Yesterday, June 3rd, you requested an inspection under that permit and were told by the
inspector that the inspection would not be performed because you did not obtain the
required permit. Because of an error that was made in our office when you obtained
your permit, the inspector had no record of the permit being issued, and unfortunately,
your job was held up a day and you had to make an unnecessary trip back to our office
with the permit you had been issued to clarify what had happened. The person issuing
the permit had issued the permit both to the incorrect address and to the incorrect
contractor which gave us no way to cross reference the information either to your job.or
your name. Once you came to our office with your copy of the permit that was issued to
you, it was immediately corrected, the inspector was contacted, and the inspection was
conducted, and the job has been approved and finaled.
I sincerely apologize for the delay in your project due to our mistake. I am enclosing a
copy of the corrected permit and inspection record for your file.

To Request an inspection call the 24 hour recording at 726-3769. All inspection requested before 7:00 a.m.
will be made the same working day, inspections requested after 7:00 a.m. will be made the following work
day.

the Ordinances of the City of Springfield and the Laws of the State of Oregon pertaining to the work described herein, and
that NO OCCUPANCY will be made of any structure without permission ofthe Community Services Division, Building Safety.
I further certify that only contractors and employees who are in compliance with ORS 701.005 will be used on this project.
I further agree to ensure that all required inspections are requested at the proper .time, that each address is readable from the
street, that the permit card is located at the front of the property, and the approved set of plans will remain on the site at all
times during construction.
