Yesterday, June 3rd, you requested an inspection under that permit and were told by the inspector that the inspection would not be performed because you did not obtain the required permit. Because of an error that was made in our office when you obtained your permit, the inspector had no record of the permit being issued, and unfortunately, your job was held up a day and you had to make an unnecessary trip back to our office with the permit you had been issued to clarify what had happened. The person issuing the permit had issued the permit both to the incorrect address and to the incorrect contractor which gave us no way to cross reference the information either to your job.or your name. Once you came to our office with your copy of the permit that was issued to you, it was immediately corrected, the inspector was contacted, and the inspection was conducted, and the job has been approved and finaled. I sincerely apologize for the delay in your project due to our mistake. I am enclosing a copy of the corrected permit and inspection record for your file.
