REMARKS
A. ELECTRICAL
~ 1. Discontinue use 01 extension cords in lieu 01 permanenl wiring.
2. Each out lei box shall have a cover faceplate or II_lure canopy.
- 3. Maintain 36" clearance in front of electrical panel.
= 4. Maintain wiring In good condition and protect from damage.
B. EXITS
1. Remove unapproved locks or latchas from exil doors.
2. Unlock aU exit doors during business hours.
3. Remove Obstructions from exits, aisles. corridors and stairways.
4. Remove obstructions from smoke doors and maintain to operate properly.
5. Repair or mainlain exit door and hardware to operate properly.

c. EXIT LIGHTING
,. Maintain lighting for exit signs.
- 2. PrOVide lighting for corridors. stairways and eXlerlor exltways.
= 3. Exils shall be illuminaled 8t all times the building is occupied.
D. FIRE EXTlNGUISHERS
,. Provide extlnguisher(s) 01 a minimum rating.
- 2. Mount extingUIsher where readily avallaDle. wltn tOp not higher then 5 feet.
- 3. Post signs indicating location where extinguishers are not readily visible.
= 4. Service and tag each extinguisher annually and alter use.
E. FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
1. Maintain access to and operation at standpipes, fire hose. sprinkler valves and fire hydrant(S).
2. Inspect and test sprinkler system and maintain records. .
3. Identify sprinkler valves and standpipes and secure in open position.
4. Provide spare sprinklers (6 minimum) and sprinkler wrench.
5. Inspect and service hood and duct extinguishing system ovsr cooking equipment.
6. Replace damaged. corrodecl or painted sprinkler heads.

f. FIRE SEPARATIONS

G. FlAMMABLE LIQUIDS
,. Reduce Class I to less than 5 gal. inside or 10 gal. outside without permit.
- 2. Reduce Class II & III to 25 gal. inside or 60 gal. oulside wilhout permit.
- 3. Remove liquids not slored in original containers or closed metel containers. ,-,
- .t. Remove flammable liquids not used tor maint. in assembly bldgs.. oltices, apts. or mo
- 5. Discontinue use of Class I liquids (gasoline. etc.) lor cleaning. . I

H. HEATING APPLIANCES

2. Provide clearance between heat prOducing appliance and combustible material.
L HOUSEKEEPING
" Remove or store rubbish. waste material. oily rags in closed metal containers.
