SUBJECT: Housing Code violations occurring at "4535 Main Street, Springfield,
Oregon, Job #860736.
Dear Mrs. Greer;
A follow-up Courtesy Inspection of the subject property was conducted today.
This inspection revealed that:
1. The existing roof covering does not provide adequate weather
protection; water leaks are evident in the utility room.
2. The toilet is leaking at its connection to the floor flange. The
toilet must be securely reinstalled upon a new wax seal.
3. The bathroom lavatory faucet cannot be shut off and must be
repaired or replaced. The bathroom lavatory drain trap leaks and
must be repaired or replaced.
Please consider the well-being of your tenants .and correct the above Housing
Code violations promptly.
It is the City's policy to allow thirty (30) days from the date of notification for
correction of Housing Code violations; however, as you have been advised to
correct item #2 above in the City's letter to you dated 16 October 1986, this
violation must be corrected immediately.
