REVISED LETTER -
Correction to letter
dated December 8, 1978
Attention: Mr. Robert Jennings
Gentlemen:
This letter is in reply to questions and concerns, voiced by yourself and
by Mr. Gary Hughes of Iverson Hughes, Inc." regarding restrictions which
might be placed on the house at 4695 Main Street if additional street
right-of-way were dedicated to the City. My staff has discussed this
matter with Dick Johnson, City Planner, so this letter represents ,the
feelings of both the Planning Department and the Department of Public
Works,
South 47th Street is planned for a 60 foot right-of-way, 30 feet each way
from the original centerline, Based on information furnished by Lee Plants,
Consulting Engineer, the subject house is approximately 28 feet WEST of the
centerline. We would require that the ri9ht-of-way dedication for this
property extend west to the front of the house. At such time that the house
is demolished or relocated, we would require that the,additional 2+ feet be
dedicated and that any new building must meet all setback requirements. Any
addition or alteration to the existing house, after the 28 ~oot dedication,
may be sUbject to setback requirements, depending on the particular circum-
stances.
