RE: Notice and Order to Comply with the Uniform Building Code, Volume IV.
Dear Sir:
In your telephone conversation with Mr. Jack Mayer on this date, you
expressed a reluctance. to proceed with any work on the building located at
4485 Main Street, Springfield, Oregon, until such time that pending liti-
gation in~olving the building is settled.
.
With the understanding that you will secure the building from
unauthorized entry, clean up the surrounding area, and notify us when
the litigation is settled, this Department will, under Section 702 of the
Uniform Building Code, Volume IV, grant an extension of time within which
to complete the rehabilitation of the building.
Since time is of the essence, you should submit your plans to the
Building Department promptly so that work may p,oceed without further
delay.
