We received a written request from you on December 4, 1981 requesting a permit for the
continued use of a' trailer as a temporary office located at 4427 Main Street, Spring-
field, Oregon, Assessor's Map "17-02-32-31, Tax Lot #6300. ,-----
Our records indicate that a permit was issued to Howard R. Etheridge, 33964 "0" Street,
Goshen, Oregon on April 4, 1981 to use a trailer as a temporary office at 4427 Main
Street, Springfield, Oregon in accordance with Section 22.07 (d) of the Springfield
Zoning Code.
The permit was issued with the following conditions and requirements:
1) The temporary office would be allowed for a maximum of 18 months, termination date
of October 3, 1982.
2) , That an application for Site Plan Review would be submitted within six months and
prior to applying for a building permit.
3) That an application for a building permit for a permanent structure on the premises
must be filed with the City Building Division within six months (October 3, 1981).
4) That the temporary office must be a minimum of 20 feet from the property line except
where fronting on street or yards over 40 feet in width.
5) That a Joint Use Agreement for use of toilet facilities with the adjoining neighbor
was submitted.
Failure of the permittee to comply with the above conditions and requirements terminates
the permit and approval for the use of the trailer as a temporary office and requires im-
mediate discontinued use and removal of said trailer.
Your request for a six month permit for the use of the same trailer at the same location
and to be used by Mr. Etheridge for the continued use of the same business cannot be ap-
proved at this time.
In an effort to avoid causing you and Mr. Etheridge undue hardship, we will extend the
time period for compliance to the requirements agreed to on the original permit until
