Dear Sir or Madam:
This office represents the City of Springfield Planning and
Development Department. The property at 5705 Main Street
is in violation of the Municipal Code of the City of Springfield
as the result of the following conditions:
Burned mobile home, garbage and other used materials
existing at this location in violation of Section
5-1-1(3) (a) and (d) of the Springfield Municipal
Code.
You are hereby notified that unless you take action by January 1,
1986, to remedy the problem and bring the property into compliance
with the requirements of the Springfield Municipal Code, this
matter will be referred to the City Prosecutor and a civil action
will be instituted in the Municipal Court of the City of Springfield
to compel your compliance.
I regret the deadline imposed by this letter, however, previous
letters to you from the Office of Planning and Development have
not resulted in any action on your part.
If you have any questions regarding the interpretation of this
letter, please telephone Sally Johnson, Planning and Development
Department, City of Springfield (726-3753).
In the event that it does become necessary to institute a
civil action in the Municipal Court of the City of Springfield
to compel your compliance, please be informed that Section 1-12-7
of the Springfield Code provides for a fine not exceeding $500.00
per violation, and further provides that each day of the violation
constitutes a separate offense.
