The following list of items require correction, clarification or additional detailing before they can be approved: THE APPLICATION ADDRESSES EXCAVATION ONLY, BUT THE GRADING PLAN SHOWS A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF FILL INTENDED TO BRING THE GRADE UP TO LEVELS INTENDED FOR STRUCTURES AND PAVING. IF YOUR INTENT IS TO GAIN APPROVAL FOR THE FILL AS WELL AS THE EXCAVATION, THE FOLLOWING ITEMS APPLY: 1. According to estimates by the City Engineering Division, the actual quantity of fill required will be approximately 2300 cubic yards. The permit fee is derived from the from the greatest quantity of either excavation or fill. Please clarify your intent so we can calculate applicable fees. ~!,?c#//""-~/ ~ cH7~?5' ~-=-;> . To complete the excavation permit we need to know what firm is providing that service, who the project supervisor is, and ~~e~~v~~~~~l will be taken. To complete the fill permit we need to know the source of the fill material, supplier, and actual specification of intended fill. The excavation and grading section of Sheet SP1 states, "All imported materials shall be clean earth (no expansive clays) or crushed rock." Please clarify exactly what will be !d for fill. ~~. ubmit copies of inspection and testing reports to this office, verifying that the fill is in compliance with compaction requirements of 95% maximum density inside buildings and under footings, and 90% elsewhere per AASHTO-T- 180. 2. 3. 4.
