Dear Mr. Stienmuller:
At the request of Steven E. Costello, the Building Division of the City ot
Sprinqfield conducted a Courtesy Inspection of the dwelling located at
the above referenced address on January 13, 1983.
STRUCTURAL AND FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY
The following items do not meet the standards of the Unifonn Housfnq Code (U.H.C.):
1. The ceiling has deteriorated due to excessive moisture from improperly main-
tained roof covering. U.H.C. 1001 (h)
2. The kitchen floorinq has deteriorated due to excess moisture from improper
maintenance of a plumbing fixture. U.H.C. 1001 (f)
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1.
Electric outlets in the common wall of bedroom/living room deteriorated to
the point of not working. U.H.C. 1001 (e)
2.

Baseboard heaters are falling away from walls due to failure of fastening
.devices (anchors).
The above defects shall be corrected within 30 days of the date of this letter.
