SITE Map 18-02-03-21 Tax Lot 1500 North + Date Received: JUN 1 5 2009 Original Submittal ~. ..-.. ~ -- SunTrust LAND COMPANY LLC Narrative - Tree Felling Permit Dear Staff: We cordially request an approval for tree felling to allow development to occur on our North Cluster as approved in our Tentative Plat and Site Design, We mistakenly did not run a Tree Felling Permit concurrently with those prior approvals. Tract A is going to be left natural with the trees and overall topography to remain the same. A trail and other small amenities such as picnic tables will be placed in Tract A without disturbance to the existing trees, In addition, we had identified the outside area of the project as a Tree Conservation Easement (the Northerly and Southerly lot lines). This area will be protected to allow healthy trees to remain, The remaining of the project, where the ~;",;,,;,;" and lots are being built, is to be completely cleared to allow for the development to occur as <'YI"V .'ed, Our tentative and site design approvals clearly identified that we would save those trees within the Conservation Easement and Tract A and everything else would come down to allow the develop to occur as "I'I'<v led. We will place orange protected construction fencing along the easement line near the rear oflots 1-16, the easterly are oflot 16 and the southerly area oflots 36, 37 and 53 in order to fully protect the Conservation area, The same fencing material will be placed at the rear of lots 17-22 and 46-53 and the northerly lot line of 46 to fully protect Tract A. As we identified previously, each lot will have a minimum of two trees replaced or added...one in the rear yard and one in the front yard. All of the lots are required to be landscaped, so it would be expected that each yard will have a variety of plants, bushes and trees, In addition, Flowering Pear Trees will be planted every thirty feet along MountainGate Drive. Any trees that are damaged/injured during the development process (ie: root system is damaged and the tree becomes unhealthy) and thus needs to be taken out, will be replaced on a one to one basis with a tree that our arborist feels is appropriate, f Date Received: JUN 1 5 2009 b1878 Bunker Hill Court, Bend. We do feel that we have met the notice requirements through the Site Design process and ask that we are given a tree felling permit without having to renotice the neighbors. Attached are our application, copy of the deed, title report, 3 copies of the plot plan identifying the trees and one reduced to 8 1I2" x 11".
