Dear Mr. Wilds:
This letter is being sent regarding your property at 6105 Main Street in Springfield, map
and tax lot 17023434 00300. This property contains a mapped wetland area which begins
approximately 270 feet back from the north property line and continues south 150 feet
(enclosed is a map from the Local Wetland Inventory showing the area).
A site visit to the property was made on December 10, 2002 following a complaint from
a citizen concerned about the cutting of trees and vegetation in the wetland area. Any
activity conducted in the wetland area, including vegetation removal, fill, and
construction, must have City of Springfield and Oregon Division of State Lands approval
and permits before proceeding. Non-native vegetation (such as blackberries) and trash
debris may be removed, by hand, without such approval.

your effort to remove trash and debris from the wetland area.
