~ 'Board of Appeals case #81-19. Daren Engle Real Estate applied for
a variance in November of 1981 to erect a readerboard at 5846 Main
Street in the RP District (readerboards are not allowed in RP dis~
trict); The Board of Appeals denied the variance request (see
attached notice of decision). On February 8, 1982, I observed the
readerboard had been erected in violation of the Sign Ordinance,
in contravention with the Board's decision, and without a permit.
Please send a letter from your office.
2) 138 Main Street - 0 &J- Furniture
A letter was sent from this office on November 24, 1981 relative
to sidewalk repair at 138 Main Street to be completed'by December
15, 1981. To date, no permit has been purchased or work be9un.
Please refer to the attached letters.
3) 353 South 34th Street - Resident
David Puent, Building Inspector, sent a January 25, 1981 letter to
the resident of 353 South 34th Street requiring clean up of garbage
and debris by February 5, 1982 (copy of letter attached). The let-
ter was received by the resident on January 27,1981. The required
clean up was not completed.
