Dear Mr. Large:

I'm writing with regard to your November i7, 1982 letter concerning your request for
. the continued occupancy ,of .the small .structure which houses an insurance office at
.\ 5846 Main Street, Springfield, Oregonl. Based on our September 25, 1981 letter to you,
,'a further extension of occupancy forjthe building may not be granted. Please refer. to
': the attached copy.
That letter describes the use'of the structure as an office which classifies it as a
B-2 Occupancy. The building does not and could not, without extensive alterations,
meet the requirements for a B-2 Occupancy as specified in the' Oregon State Structural
Specialty Code and Fire and Life Safety Code.' Our September 25, 1981 letter allowed
you a period of one year or until September 25, 1982 and also advised you that, be-
cause of the building's inadequacies, no extension of the temporary occupancy would
be granted. -
For these reasons and otherscof public safety relative to the use of commercial build-
ings, the building must be vacated by 60 days from the date of this letter (May 20, 1933).
The building will be posted "DO NOT OCCUpy" if occupancy does not cease by the above
stated deadline. Your anticipated cooperation is appreciated.
