SUBJECT: Mrs. Ina Strong, Conditional Use Permit Application for a plant
business at 5809 Main Street ~
Mrs. Ina Strong did not apply for a CUP for a Plant Business at 5809 Mai~
Street by the 5 p.m. deadline on September 5, 1979. Thus, her request "
could not be heard at the October 3, 1979 meeting of the Springfield
~lanning Commission.
Her existing Retail Plant Business at 5809 Main Street is on property
which is zoned RA Suburban District. Thus, she is in violation of the
City Zoning Code which does not allow retal~'uses~outright in the RA
District. A number of other violations of the City Code have been
noted by Sally Johnson, the City's Environmental Inspector. See the
attached memos from Sally Johnson and Kevin Roberts on this subject.
Please initiate court proceedings to redress the zoning violations on
the Strong property at 5809 Main Street.
