OREGON 97477 PUBLIC WORKS September' 26, 1979 346 MAIN STREET 726.3753 Mr. Willard Strong 5809 Main Street Springfield, Oregon 97477 ~ ~ Re: Plant Business at 5809 ~Iain Street Dear Mr. Strong: I'm writing persuant to our conversation of September 17, 1979 regarding the phasing out of your plant business at 5809 Main Street, Springfield, Oregon. As you know, a commercia1,pusiness is not permitted in a residential zone. During our conversation, you requested a time period of approximately 60 days to close out the business. This office is prepared to allow you sixty days from the date of this letter (November 26, 1979) to terminate your business, provided that the following conditions are met: 1) The structure covering the plants must be removed by 30 days from the ,date of this letter (October 26, 1979). 2) . In order for the" greenhouse structure to remain, plans for the greenhouse must be submitted to the Building Division and,a permit issued. 3) ,One advertising sign may remain. All others must be removed. An inspection will be conducted on October 26, 1979 ,to determine if you have complied with the above conditions. If these conditions are not' met by Oc- tober 26, 1979, your business must be terminated at that date.. If you comply with these conditions you may continue business dealings through November 26, 1979. In any case at the time your business is terminated all structures and appurtenances related to the business must be removed from the property. Only that which relates ,to the residential nature of the property may remain. Please direct all inquiries to the Springfield Building Division at 726-3753. cc:, Ronald B.
