Please accept this letter as a request to extend our permit for a project at 3408INDUSTRJAL
AVE, which is scheduled to expire JUne 8, 2009. After speaking with you today in your office,
we are wishing to renew it for another 6 month5 at no additional flies or cost.
The previous home was demolished by the Springfield Fire Department and we are still in the
process of determining whether we should replace it with a residential "footprint" home or a
building which wouid meet the LMI ~oning.

The Springfield Building Safety Code Administrative Code provides that in order for a permit to
remain valid, the work which has been authorized by the permit must begin within 180 days of the date
of issuance, and an inspection must be requested at least every 180 days.
