Narrative.
Weber Elliott Engineers, PC is authorized by Elder Health and Living Co~. to
'investigate and perform a right-of-way vacation of the portion of South 58' Street located
between Bob Straub Parkway and Daisy Street / South 57th Place. The subject site is a 60
feet wide and approximately 180 feet long as it shown on Assessor's map 17-02-33-44. It
terminates by the easterly right-of-wa~ line of Bob Straub Parkway and by the weste'rly
right-of-way line of Daisy Street / 57' Place. Properties to the north, east, and so&th of
the site are owned by Elder Health and Living Corp. Bob Straub Parkway is adjacent to
the site on the west. The site is a grassy open field with a few trees at the northern end.
Elder Health and Living Corp., the residential and health care organization:for people
with memory loss, would like to obtain the subject site after the right-of-way vacation
and utilize it to construct anaddition to their assisted care facility.
We would like to request the presence ofthe representatives from the City of Springfield
Public Works, Transportation, Surveyor's office, and the Lane County Transportation, we
would also like a representative from SUB water and electric to attend..

I. What is the proper process of obtaining this portion of South 58'h Street by Elder
Health and Living Corp? How to initiate it?

2. What is the cost / time associated with the process of obtaining the property?
3. Are there any public / private utilities located in existing right-of-w.ay?
4. Are there any easement that need to be retain?
5. All the properties immediately adjacent to the right-of-way proposed for vacation
belong to Elder Health and Living Corp. Are there any other properties
considered affected by this right-of-way vacation?
