Dear Mr. Limbird:
Pac West recently received correspondence from you dated August 14, 2006 concerning
the completeness of our site plan application for the Embassy Suites project in
Springfield, Planning Journal Number DRC2006-00062. Since receiving the request for
additional information, I have spoken with you on the phone and discussed each issue
that needs to be addressed before the City considers the submittal complete. This letter
serves as acknowledgement that we received your letter of incompleteness and our
intention to resubmit revised plans by September 1,2006.
In order to ensure we address all outstanding issues and submit a complete application by
September. I , the following list is my understanding of items that need to be addressed

Reauest: Ail application' for Site' Plan Review was submitted ..10 the :Springfield planning,
Division on July 27, 2006 for property located at 3530 Gateway Street. in Springfield. The
application proposes to build an 8-storey hotel with underground parking, surface parkirig and
landscaping within the 2.83 acre site. .
Status of the AODlication: The application is incomplete and requires additional information'
for an adequate review: A pre-submittal meeting was held on June 9, 2006 and a list of items
required' for completeness was provided at that time; including concurrent submittal of
applications for Drinking Water Protection and Tree Felling, The Springfield Development
Code (SDC) requires that submittal requirements of SDC 3.050 be fully met prior to application
acceptance for review. A decision based on the incomplete information subniitted would
result in a denial. The state-mandated 120-day processing time for this land use decision will
begin when all' the requested information is submitted or when the applicant requests that the
City proceed without the information. The applicant must submit a written r~sponse by August
21, 2006 that confirms receipt of this letter and the applicant's intentions regarding the provision
of the additional information. All materials for this application must be submitted by September'
1, 2006. This is your finaI' opportunity, to ensure completeness of the application as'.'

If the applicant is sileht regarding this letter, the City' will deem the applicaticlll complete for the
