Performed continuous visual inspection during tensioning of the 3/4" and 7/8" A325 high strength bolts for
the mezzanine using turn-of-the-nut method. Observed bolts being brought into snug tight condition,
marked with a paint pen, then turned the additional 1/3 tUrn. Note: three (3) connections on line E
between'lines 1 and 2 deviated from original drawings and engineer's revisions, Also. four (4)
column to beam connections along line 0 had been tack welded while bolts were changed out to
longer length arid track welds were left in-place. Engineer approval needed for as-built conditions
at the above referenced connections. . .
Mack (Erector's, inc.) was asked to notify our office when additional services are needed.
To the best of our knowledge, the work checked is in conformance with American Buildings drawings
dated 02-09-09 and applicable workmanship provisions of the AISC manual, except as noted above.

Met erector on-site to perform visual inspection of field welds on the bar joist to beam connections for the
mezzanine floor. Completed welds were checked for size, length, profile and location.
Mark (Erectors, Inc.) was asked to notify our office when additionai services are needed.
To the best of our knowledge, the work checked is in conformance with American Buildings drawings
dated 02-09-09 and applicable AWS 01.1 code, except if noted above.
