RESOLUTION NO. 95-74

A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF
A TRIANGULAR PIECE OF RIGHT-OF-WAY APPROXIMATELY 70 FEET WIDE AND 445 FEET
LONG, FORMERLY PART OF MCKENZIE HIGHWAY (MAIN STREET) .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD:
Section 1: That a vacation application was initiated by the applicant
(The Springfield Utility Board) on August 21, 1995.
Section 2: That it is expedient and necessary for the welfare of the
City of Springfield that the above mentioned lots be considered for
vacation.
Section 3: That notice of the intention of this Council to
the vacation of the above mentioned lots shall be advertised
consecutive weeks in the Springfield News.

Section 4: That two notices of the intention of this Council to
consider the vacation of the above mentioned lots shall be posted on the
premises which are hereby intended for consideration for vacation.
Section 5: That a public hearing will be held in the Springfield City
Council Meeting Room, Fifth and A Streets, Springfield, Oregon, on December
18,1995, for the purpose of hearing any and all persons for or against the
proposed vacation.

ADOPTED by the Springfield City Council this 6th day of November,
1995.
