CITY OF SPRINGFIELD, OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. 95-64
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Springfield has authorized the Civil
Enforcement of Code Infractions in Chapter V, Article 15 of the Springfield Code.
WHEREAS, the property on which nuisance violations were found to exist, and on which the
City of Springfield Municipal Court entered default judgments is more specifically described on the
attached list marked "Exhibit A".
WHEREAS, the delinquent forfeitures brought to default judgment constitute a lien against the
real property on which the infractions occurred.
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Common Council of the City of Springfield to place a lien
on the property so described under the authority of Chapter V, Article 15, Section 5-15-9(3) of the
Springfield Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Finance Director of the City of Springfield be,
and is hereby directed to, add to the lien docket the proposed assessment lien upon the property described
on the attached list and which was the subject of default judgments on nuisance violations.
