RESOLUTION NO. 95-34
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PROPOSED STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES AND PROJECTED USE OF FUNDS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1995-96
WHEREAS, the City of Springfield intends to continue providing its local Community
Development Block Grant Program which is supported by Community Development Block
Grant funds made available from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City of Springfield possesses the legal authority to use these funds and
to carry out the Program proposed for its 1995-96 fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD:
1. That the proposed statement of community development objectives and projected
use of funds presented to and adopted by the Council as the City's final statement on April 17,
1995, shall be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in
connection with receipt of Community Development Block Grant funds in 1995-96.
2. That the City Manager is authorized to act as the City's official representative in
connection with the grant agreement and supporting documents which may be required
pursuant to the use of these funds.
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Springfield by a vote of ~ in favor
