Plans show the addition 1 inch
Schedule 40 pipe for drops and
armovers. Armovers with a
horizontal length around 24 inches
or greater have hangers per NFP A
13,2007 edition, section 9.2.3.5.1.
There is no change in the hazard
c1assitication (Light Hazard). Most
uprights to be removed and replaced
by arm overs or drops since this is in
a non-combustible space as allowed
by NFP A 13, 2007 edition, section
8.15.1.2.1.
Plans appear to meet code

The existing system consists of
Edwards System Technologies (EST:
fire alarm control panels and device!
connected by Beldon FPLP rated
wiring (14 gauge for the visual
circuits, 16 gauge for the audio
circuits). NAC devices include
speaker/strobes with candella
ratings from 15 cd to 110 cd, and
strobes of 15 cd and JO cd
ratings.Three NACs are connected
to an existing remote booster power
supply (BPS6); the other four NACs
are connected to a new BPS8. No
smoke detectors nor additional
manual pull stations are added for
this in fill due to it being fully
sprinklered and listed as a B
occupancy (2007 SFC 907.2.2,
exception).
Plans appear to meet code
r~quirements.
To Request an inspection call the 24 hour recording at 726-3769. All inspections requested before 7:00
a.m. will be made the same working day, inspections requested after 7:00 a.m. will be made the following
work day.
