Field Observations and Comments
On site to perform final inspection on the wedge anchors installed for the storage racks up to April 15, 2009. The
storage racks have been installed and wedge anchors completed along gridlines 1, 4, 7, 9 (west side only), G.3 and H.1.
Contractor using Hilti KB-TZ 3/4x5Y, wedge anchors torqued to the manufactures specifications of 110ft Ibs. Verified
contractors torque wrench has been calibrated. The bolts were checked using PSI's calibrated torque wrench checking
a minimum of 10% of the bolts,
Contractor was asked to notify our office when additional services are needed.
"Also checked that the de:pth of the saw cut along gridline 7 was only one (1) inch in depth maximum, Center bolts of
rack were installed along saw cut."
To the best of our knowledge; the work inspected above was in accordance with the building department approved
design drawings, specifications and applicable workmanship provisions of the International Buiiding Codes.
