Re: Connection to the City sanitary sewer line (Assessor's Map# 17-02-20-00.
Tax LoU 700.
This letter is in response to our recent phone conversation and is a follow-up
to the Pre-Application Conference (Jo. No. 89-11-197). Thank you for bringing
in a copy of your SU8 utility bill as I requested.
The City sewer charge appears on your bill because Tax Lot 700 has been
assessed for extension of the sanitary sewer constructed at the time of the
Marcola Road improvement project. The City sewer charge is based on the
amount of water used per month and does not mean you are hooked up to sewer.
As I have stated previously, the City has no record' of Tax Lot 700 being
connected to the sanitary sewer system.
One option you may want to consider is contacting George Dicks at the City's
Maintenance Department (726-3761) to set a time for a dye test. This test
will determine whether or not Tax Lot 700 is connected to the sanitary sewer
system.
