Mr. Merrile:
On October 19, 1981 an electrical inspection of the new electrical wlrlng installation
being installed at 1509 Mohawk Blvd. was made by the City of Springfield's Electrical
Inspector, Jim Matteson. Dur records indicate you as the operator and owner of
the business at this location.
Mr. Matteson,pointed out and left a written notice of a violation of the State Electrical
Specialty Safety Code, Section 110-16(a), Table 110-16(a) Working CZearances, which
requires a minimum of three (3) feet of clear working distance in front of, and not
less than thirty (30) wide, around the electrical panel. It was noted that equipment
used for pumping water and equipment used in connection with the Hot TUb was obstructing
access to the electrical panel.
On October 31, 1981 Mr. Matteson made a subsequent inspection at the same location, only
to find the same conditions existing. This situation is a hazard and presents a poten-
tial threat to life/and or property and shall be removed within twenty-four (24) hours
of receipt of this notice or the electrical service to this panel will be disconnected.
