Estimated SDC:
The information in the development issues packet indicates that the applicant wishes to construct a residential building
with sixteen 1-bedroom units. Pursuant to Willamalane's current SDC polity, ea'ch new multi-family dwelling unit would
be subject to a system development charge (SDC) of $2,641 for park and recreation improvements.
SDC's would be collected at the time of building permit issuance, and will be based on the SDC policy in effect at that
time. Please refer the applicant to Willamalane's SDC fact sheet or.to me, for further information.
Multi-family dwelling units do not fall within the parameters of the current deferral program, so the SDC fees would
indeed be due at the time of building permit issuance. The rate noted above does apply to low income housing. SDC
rates typically increase at the first of the year.
