HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 09-13 04/06/2009 J:: RESOLUTION NO. 09- 13 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD I AMENDING THE MASTER SCHEDULE OF MISCELLANEOUS FEES AND CHARGES I RATES PERMITS AND LICENSES IN ORDER TO AMEND THE AMOUNT OF THE AMBULANCE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES IUSER FEES. I Springfield is authorized ~o establish user a particular service which:benefits the in a manner not shared by others paying the I i I , I WHEREAS, the fees established herein are to compensate the City for providing the particular services set forth!in the Master Schedule; and, WHEREAS, the City of fees in exchange for party paying the fee fee; and, , WHEREAS, the City has determined that the fees for the Ambulance and Emergency Medical Services User Fees should;be amended to compensate the City for providing the Ambulance land Emergency Medical Services set forth; and, WHEREAS, except for the increase in the Ambulance and Emergency Medical Services User Fees as specified herein the fees set forth in the Master Schedule remain unchanged a~d shall continue in full force and effect; and, I I , WHEREAS, the opportunity for public comment at ~ public hearing has been provided prior to the adoption of this iResolution. . ! NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Cou~cil of the City Of Springfield as follows: 1. To amend the Ambulance and Emergency Medic~l Services I Fees as set forth in Exhibit 1 the Master Schedule of Miscellaneous Fees and Charges Rates Permi~s and Licenses attached hereto and incorporated Herein by reference. User I 2. Except as specifically amended by this Resdlution the Master Schedule of Miscellaneous Fees and Oharges Rates Permits and Licenses remains unchanged and lin full force and effect. I 3. Future Resolutions of the Common Council ma1y be adopted to amend add or delete any rate permit fee lidense fee or / other fee or charge as may be necessary to compensate the City for providing the particular services set forth in the Master Schedule. 4. In the event any particular rate permit fee license fee or other fee or charge set forth in the Master Schedule shall be held invalid by operation of law or any court of competent jurisdiction or the enforc~ment of any fee I restrained by such court pending the final determination as to its validity the remainder of the; rates permit fees, license fees, fees and charges sp~cifiedin the I Master Schedule, Exhibit 1, shall not b$ affected thereby and shall remain in full force and effect. 5.
