I'm writing with regard to the recently corrected zoning
violation on your property located at 2595 Marcola Road, Spring-
field, ,Oregon. This is to inform you that as of my November 9,
1981 inspection, I found no violation with regard to dogs, foul
or animal pen setbacks. "

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sias:
Please find enclosed for your information and review, a copy of a
letter dated September 10, 1981, which you received from Sally Johnson,
Environmental Inspector, City of Springfield.
Ms. Johnson has informed this office that you have taken no action to
comply with the requirements of Section 5.02 and 5.03 of the Spring-
field Comprehensive Zoning Code.
In reviewing the file on this matter, I believe that the City has
been more than fair with you in giving you ample opportunity and time
to accomplish your compliance with the Code. During this time, the
City has continued to receive complaints regarding your non-compliance.
Accordingly, please be informed that unless you take the steps necessary
to bring your property into compliance with the Zoning Code, the City
will institute an action in the Municipal Court of the City of Spring-
field to compel your compliance. If .the property is not in conformance
by Friday, November 13, 1981, this matter will be referred to the City
Prosecutor for prosecution.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and your anticipated courtesy
and cooperation.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sias:
A recent observation of your property located at 2595 Marcola Road, Springfield,
Oregon reveals that it is in violation of the following City Codes:

Sections 5.02 (i) and (1.) of the, Springfield Comprehensive Zoning Code.
Approximately one year ago I spoke with you about the setback problem
with the pigeon and fowl pens on your property. This office has con-
tinued to receive complaints concerning the proximity of the pigeon
pens to other neighborhood residences. The pens must be moved in ac-
cordance'with Section 5.02 (i) of the Zoning Code (please refer to the
attached copy).
In addition, it has been brought to our attention that you are keeping
4 dogs on the property. Only two adult dogs are permitted per property
unless you apply for a Conditional Use Permit through the Springfield
Planning Commission and can meet the conditions of Settion 5.03 (k) of
the attached.

Therefore, by thirty (30) days from the date of this letter (October 9, 1981), the
above described conditions must be corrected in order to. conform to City Codes. ,
Unless you comply with this requirement or show cause why it should not be complied.
