Dear Res ident :
A recent observation of your property located at 2541 Marcola Road, Springfield, Oregon
reveals that it is in violation of the following City Code:
Section 9-7-11 of the Springfield Sign Ordinance relative to allowed signs
in the residential zone. Only a l~ square foot sign is permitted and then
only in connection with a "Home Occupation". Please refer to the attached
excerpts of the Springfield Comprehensive Zoning Code relative to "Home Oc-
cupations".
If you are selling woodstoves from your residence, you are in violation of
the Residential Home Occupation definition and should be doing business in
a commercial zone.

Therefore, by thirty (30) days from the date of this letter (December 6, 1981), the above
described conditions must be corrected in order to conform to City Codes. Unless qou com-
ply with this requirement or show cause why it should not be complied with, further action
will be taken under the Codes of the City of Springfield, Oregon.
Please direct all inquiries to the Springfield Building Division at 726-3753.
