On May 5, 1986, the Sprin9field City Council adopted the Springfield
~"'Development Code, replacing the 1982 Zoning Code. The new code changed the
, procedures and development standards for review and approval of churches and
'church related activities. Since adoption of the new code, staff has been
,.0 reviewing all previously approved Conditional and Special Use Permits for
",', churches and church related activities in order to update our records.

The Springfield Planning Commission approved a Special Use Permit to allow a
",',:, church to operate at the subject address. As part of the Pl anni ng
'Commission's approval the following conditions were required:
1. Site Plan approval within I year.
.,2. Approval of a minor partition on tax lot 2400.
3. Dedication of 30 feet of right-of-way and a 7 foot public utility easement
for "R" Street.
4. Construct "R" Street along the frontage of Lot #2 to a minimum 2/3 width.
5. Fully en9ineered plans for all public improvements shall be submitted and
approved.
6. The existing open drainage system across the property must either be
enclosed or an alternate system developed.
7. North 22nd Street must be constructed prior to the construction of the
church.
