PRODUCT DATA:
Firestone Ultra Ply TPO is a flexible Thermoplastic POlyolefin
roofing membrane that is produced with a polyester weft PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
inserted reinforcement. This heat weldable TPO membrane
is available in ,045 mil (1,1 mm) and ,060 mil (1 ,5mm)
thicknesses and offers outstanding weathering characteris-
tics and durability, Available in white, this reflective mem-
brane is suitable for a variety of low slope applications,
PREPARATION OF SUBSTRATES:
1. Substrates must be clean, dry, smooth, free of sharp
edges, fins, loose or foreign materials, oil, grease, and
other materials which may damage the membrane,
2, All rough surfaces which could damage the membrane
shall be repaired prior to installing the membrane, as
specified,
3, All surface voids greater than 1/4" wide shall be properly
filled with an acceptable fill material.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
1 , Firestone UltraPly TPO membrane is installed as a
continuous roofing or waterproofing layer on the roof,
Rolls are overlapped (Side Laps and End Laps) prior to
the heat welding of the seam areas,
2, Install the UltraPly TPO Roofing System in accordance
with current Firestone UltraPly TPO specifications,
details and workmanship requirements,
