Performed final inspection,on reinforcing steel for, slab on ,9rade with thickened areas within liries A to G, from 1'to 4 and,small column near A1.. Preliminary reinforcing steel, inspection was performed on 03-11-09 (FEI rep?rt number E-22538), Observed the placement of 196 yards of Knife River 4000 psi concrete (3000 psi required) (mix 40-1 K) for areas noted above, Concrete was placed' by pump and mechanically consolidated, Cast two (2) sets of four (4) 4" x 8" Goncrete test cylinders, The on'site test results areas follows: ' ' I Set 1- Load 3 I Concrete temperature- 68F I Air temperature- 36F I Slump- 41/2" I Air content- 6,0% Set 2- Load 11 Concrete temperature- 67F Air temperature- 40F Slump- 5" Air content- 5,4% Also, observed the installation of ten (10) #5 dowels, three (3) horizontal on each side of new north elevator pit wall with four (4) vertical dowels into elevator pit slab and six (6) #4 horizontal hook dowels into slab for new south elevator pit wall. Prior to installation, ihe predrilledholes were cleaned with a brush and compressed air.
