Re: Proposal for pavement addition to 3912 Main St. Springfield, Oregon
I would like to pave, as previously discussed with the city, the property located at 3912
Main St, Springfield Oregon. The Property is 151.41 feet by 90 feet, zoned Commercial.
I propose a new addition of asphalt 44'x 90' with Bi-o-swale drainage, I plan to build a
25' x 25' x 6' chain link fence at the North East end of the building. The property is
currently under a commercial lease to Zilokowski Auto Electric with a mower repair
business,
I plan to remove approximately 20 yards of material to achieve the proper grade for
drainage, I will put in approximately 10 ton of crushed and % minus compacted gravel
for the base, I will be adding approximately 65 ton of new asphalt; 3 inches in depth with
a 2 inch drop toward the Bi-o-swale. I will place 8-foot pre-cast parking bumps at the
north edge of the asphalt from the west to east of the property. They will be spaced to let
water drain into the Bi-o-swale, I will re-stripe the existing pavement and a bicycle rack
will be installed,
