struct.ura 1 defect. Al though the bottom of the footing is above the
code requ.i red frost depth, no evidence of damage due to frost heave
was observed.
Thp. mAximum calculated soil pres'Hlr.p. based upon an average 8 inch
wldr.h 1s 650 psf. The allowable soil pressure for this type of 9011
is 1000 psf. Based on observations at the site and 60il pres~ure
calcul ati ons, the slab and slab edge 1.s adequate to support the
proposed roof and wall vertical load.
