The following is my understanding of City and code requirements for our proposed renovation work. . 1. Parking requires locating (2) handicapped stalls near the handicapped entrance with ramp. We will provide two eight foot wide stalls with a common eight foot cross - hatched access aisle between with an eight foot cross - hatched aisle to existing sidewalk abutting ramp. 2. Foundation vents require a 1/'f" inch mesh vent screen. We will provide same. 3. Widen handicapped entry doors providing close-to-doors fitting panic hardware. Minimum open clearance is 32". Is flood control design required? Do we have any potential problems with local codes? We would appreciate a reply as the Owner wants to resolve all conflicts and interpretations as soon as possible.
