Arrived on-site to verify that the strut to column connection at grid B4 had a tapered shim installed and that
the 3/4" x 2 1/2" A325 high strength bolt in the bottom hole had been replaced with a longer A325 high
strength bolt to extend threads all the way through nut. Also, witnessed erector tensioning boll to the snug
tight condition.
.Tony Dean (Wildish) was asked to notify our office when additional services are needed.
To the best of our knowledge, the work checked is in conformance with transmittal from Robert Hoekstra
Engineering dated 12-18-08 and applicable provisions of the AISC manual, except if noted above.
