Rain Walls Penormed visnal inspection of reinforcing steel in the above listed locations. Reinforcing' steel was checked for grade, sizc, lap, placement and clearances where applicable. Rebar was placed in accordance with approved jobsite plans and specifications. All. cells were relatively clean and mortar projcctions within the limits of the USe. Penormed continuous inspection during placement of grout. Grout was placed by pump and mechanically consolidated. <\ll cells were grouted solid. Fabricated one set of three CMU test prisms. Springfield; Oregon Reinforcing Slcel Structural Masonry 8" CMU block walls cxtcrior of store elevation 8'0" to Pcrfonned visual inspection of rcinforcing stccl and continuous special inspection during thc placem~nt of grout in arcas listed above. Reinforcing stcel is in conformance with approved job site plans, spccifications and latest revisions except for addcd lintel reinforcing steel over window opening at food prep~ration room. Masonry contractor installed two #5 horizontals as pcr detail 10/S4 and architects revision. Contractor addcd two #5 horizontal, 16" above window pening in next bond bcam coursc with #4 stirrups at 32" O.c. over thc lintel. Grout cells are relatively c1can and free of excessivc mortar projections. Grout was placed by pump and mechanically consolidated. All cells were grouted solid. Contractor was advised to lake cold-weather precautions as specified in the UBC. Contractor was also advised of on-site test rcsults and was askcd to notify our officc when additional scrvices arc needed.
