Subject: Fw: Aramark Fire Hydrant Requirements (DRC2008-00008 and COM2008-00235)
Steve,
Below is the change in the hydrant requirement from Gilbert. Also, I have spoken with Mr. Hammer and he
directed me to write to you that all wall pack lights will be fully shielded to not allow any light to extend beyond the
property lines.
Let me know if this meets the lighting requirement or if you need a more official letter.
Thanks for your help
scott...

Subject: Aramark Fire Hydrant Requirements (DRC2008-00008 and COM2008-00235)
Steve,
Scott Morris and I met this morning to review fire hydrant distances for the Aramark project.
Scott noted that there will'be a gated access on the northwest corner of the property for truck
access to serve this occupancy via private access easement per Plan Sheet C2. This will allow
a fire hydrant located to the north of the property, H-1325 shown on Plan Sheet C 1, to be
within 600 feet of the required distance to the proposed building. Since this gate will be an
electric rolling gate, a Knox keyed gate switch will be required for fire department access (this
also applies to the electric rolling gates at the main entrance), Therefore, orie existing fire
hydrant can meet part of the water flow requirements,
Another fire hydrant will still need to be installed near the main entrance to meet water supply
requirements.
I have also reviewed these changes with Bart and Rebecca so that they are aware of this
change,
Gilbert R. Gordon
