SUBJECT: Annual DWP Inspection
I met with Colleen Parker, Operations Manager, at 2 PM to inspect the facility and
review their DWP Hazardous Materials Management Plan compliance.
Based on my inspection, the facility is in compliance.
1. We reviewed the Monthly inspection sheet and it was appropriate and up to date.
2. We discussed their chemical review process to evaluate for DNAPL's. No new
chemicals were added to their inventory.
3. We looked at each hazardous materials storage area and all products were in
proper containers and were stored in secondary containment.
4. We reviewed the processor operation and chemical storage. Currently this is
being done at their other facility, however, the containment is in place here and
ready for use.
5. All of the required signs are in place in the parking lot..
Colleen provided a copy of the MSDS sheet for Premier Ice Melter that they are using
for ice control in their parking areas and entrance. The primary ingredient is .
Magnesium Acetate.
This is a very clean and well organized facility and they are doing a great job.
