Comments from Lane County Transportation Planning
The two roads' fronting the subdivision, Quinalt and Fairview, are local access roads. They appear to .have been annexed
by the City of Springfield, Q Street to the north appears also to be in Springfield's jurisdiction.
The existing north-south 36" stormwater pipe running from Fairview Street over private property to an outfall at the Q
Street Channel.is in the City's maintenance jurisdiction. City staff confirmed agreement with this record.

Further to the west, the road system is outside the city limits and composed of Lane County-maintained urban Local
Roads. Pursuant to Lane Manual 15. 515, no ~torniwater should be diverted into the County-maintained road system.
Storm water should be.accommodated on site with dry wells or other approved means. In addition, Lane County's road
maintenance staf(indicate that outfalls'in this area already require a high degree of maintenance. "General Notes" #8
(Tentative Subdivision Plan sheet) and #6 (Grading & Paving Plan) should be revised to delete reference to using the
public street system for drainage purposes, and the applicant should submit a revised stormwater drainage Rlan for
approval by the City to reflect this revision.. .
