Performed inspection on the reinforcing steel for crosswalk between pedestrian
walkway and mall, non colored sections, Reinforcing steel was checked of size, grade,
laps, quantities, locations, ties, clearance and supports,
Observed the placement of 21 yards of Eugene Sand and Gravel 3000 psi' concrete
(mix 396850) into area noted above, Concrete was placed directly from truck and was
mechanically consoiidated, Cast one (1) set of four (4) 4" x 8" concrete test cylinders,
Notified Adam Hughes (Brown Contracting) of on-site test results: concrete
temperature- 71 F; air temperature- 42F; slump- 3 3/4"; air content, 4,3%,
. Mr, Hughes was asked to notify our office when additional services are needed.
To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with plans dated
03,12-08 and applicable workmanship' provisions of the t.B,C" except jf noted above,
