RE: 1017 53'd Place. Sorinl!:field - Site/Soils/Compaction Inspection - Job # 505-0 I ~07
"
. ,As you requested a site soils investigation were performed at the above address to determine the
. suitability of the site for the construction of the wood.framed_residence. All'unsuitable fills, organic
and other unsuitable material has been removed to a suitable grade. The native soil is silty clay
. wit,h a Unified Classification ofML-CL This soil has a low to moderate potential for expansion.
On July 27, 2007, a compaction inspection was performed at the site where a maximum of 12
inches of r y,n mirius cr.hshed rock was placed and compacted to elevate the site to a suitable grade
for construction purposes. The compaction of the gravel.surface is greater than 95% of a standard
proctor, per ASTM 0698.
This report is limit~dto soil'conditions at the building site. The geotechnical services performed by
this firm have been conducted with that level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of
the profession practicing in this are under similar budget and time restraints. Thank you for this
opportunity to be of service. If you have questions regarding this report, contact me at 868~0667.

Pamela S. Hillstrom, r.E., G.E.
