Field Observations and Comments
Performed visuai inspection of reinforcing steel and anchor bolts at the following locations: Column footings on gridlines
1,4, 7, 9 from A to J. Also performed continuous ,inspection during the placement of concrete. Concrete was placed by
truck and mechanically consolidated. Cast one (1) set of four (4) (4x8) concrete test cylinders. To the best of our
knowledge, the work inspected above was in accordance with the building department approved design drawings,
specifications, and applicabie workmanship provisions of the International Building Code.

Met on site with Chambers Construction and Egge Sand and Gravel representatives to observe excavations at the
following locations: Pad Footings at A at 3(11 ')" B at 3 (11 '), B at 6(7'), C at 3(11 '), C at 6(8'); continuous footings at
gridlines A from 2 to 5(10 1/2'). Ail measurements are from finished rock grade. Exposed subgrade soils visually
appeared to be native dense sandy (bar run) gravel. All excavations were clean and free of loose debris and were filled
in with imported Controlled Density Fill. To the best of our knowledge, the work inspected was in accordance with the
building department approved design drawings, specifications and applicable workmanship provisions of the
International Building Code.
